1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toast sunflower seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Add butter, salt, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir until fully mixed.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from heat and stir in toasted sunflower seeds.
Pour mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
