Irresistible Mini Churro Bites Ready in 30 Minutes

Mini Churro Bites

Crispy bite-sized churros coated in cinnamon sugar for a quick sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 qt vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat water, 2 tbsp sugar, salt, and 2 tbsp oil in a saucepan until boiling
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until dough forms
  3. Heat frying oil to 375°F in a deep pot
  4. Pipe 1-inch dough strips into hot oil using a pastry bag
  5. Fry until golden brown (about 2 minutes per side)
  6. Drain on paper towels
  7. Mix 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon
  8. Toss warm churros in cinnamon sugar mixture

Notes

  • Use a star piping tip for classic ridged churros
  • Serve immediately for best texture
  • Dough can be made 2 hours ahead
