  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cut tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Toss tofu cubes in soy sauce, then coat with cornstarch mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry tofu until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Drain on paper towels before serving.
