Crispy Tofu Croutons

Crispy tofu croutons add a crunchy, protein-packed topping to your salads, soups, or bowls. They are vegan and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water.
  2. Cut the tofu into small cubes.
  3. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the tofu on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  7. Let cool before serving.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Use extra-firm tofu for best results.
