Crispy chickpea croutons add crunch to salads and soups. They are a healthy alternative to traditional croutons.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chickpeas dry with a paper towel.
  3. Toss chickpeas with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway.
  6. Let cool before serving.
